Faire (French):

To Do. To Make. To Become.

To Do:

We start our seeds and perepare our soil with mindfulness of the impact we have on the earth. Soil health and regeneration is top priority in growing beautiful plants and maintaining a healthy eco-system and microbiome.

To Make:

We grow flowers with intention of having a creative experience! Our dried flowers make for beautiful bouquets, wreaths and decor. Our dye flowers are used to savor the beauty via botanical printing, floral crafts, and promoting pure enjoyment.

To Become:

Our flowers become much more than a 5 day muse. They are a thoughtful moment, a celebration, a reminder, pure enjoyment, an excuse to gather together! We are constantly finding new ways to use the blooms we grow to become something other than just a flower.

“Yeah, so, we’re making flower ranching a thing.”

Sustainable flowers . floral-based goods . family owned + operated

We started our farm journey a few years before we even bought and moved to our property in Columbia Tn, in 2018. My husband, Will, and I had a dream to move out of the city and own a small cattle ranch where we’d homestead our little hearts out. That journey began in our 800 sq ft apartment and consisted of seeding experiments and caring for small plants on my balcony in our Nashville apartments. I watched countless YouTube videos, read books on books on books, and only listened to podcasts on homesteading, rotational grazing, permaculture, gardening, soil health, and sustainable living. I truly believe that if you have a stirring in your soul to first seek the Lord about it and from there start reaching that dream it in tangible ways, even if you don’t see it happening in your life for a long time. One day you will be ready to take it on head first because you have prepared for that moment. We have now reached our moment, set roots, and are ready to flourish. We have pivoted away from being cattle ranchers and landed on something a little more delicate in product but just as laborous in production. Flower ranching!

Flower Ranch Operations + Florist

Hi, I am Hannah! I run the operation around here as far as planning the season, managing events, floral design, and botanical dyeing goes! I am prep the garden beds, buy + sowseeds, design events, and customer service, When I am not in the garden I create a lot of floral based goods and art with my dried flowers and flower press. You will mostly see me (and occasionally our two daughters) on our social accounts sharing our journey with you! Will makes an appearance here and there as well of course! I have found great joy in my flower growing venture and hope to share as much of it with you as possible. The pretty, the ugly, the wins and the fails.

Will Kroeker

Ranch Hand

Will works as a sub contractor most days and is writing country tunes whenever the tool belt is hung up, but when he is around and needed, he lends a tremendous hand in building infrastructure, hauling heavy equipment, fixing most of the broken things, keeping the morale high at the same time of keeping things in perspective and grounded. He is creative, a dreamer, and someone who takes action. Things never go without celebration while Will is around!! He is the best time and the best leader. No one I would rather have build this with me!

“Fairest Lord Jesus, ruler of all nature, O thou of God and man the Son, Thee I will cherish, Thee I will honor, thou, my soul’s glory, joy, and crown. Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands, robed in the blooming garb of spring: Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer who makes the woeful heart to sing. Fair is the sunshine, fairer still the moonlight, and all the twinkling starry host: Jesus brighter, Jesus shines purer than all the angels heaven can boast. Beautiful savior! Lord of all the nations! Son of God and Son of Man! Glory and honor, praised, adoration now and forevermore be thine.”

Hymn: Fairest Lord Jesus
